The Graduate Education Faculty position in the Liffrig Family School of Education and Behavioral Sciences is a full-time faculty rank position that includes graduate teaching and advising and program administration responsibilities in the Graduate Education Program. This position is directly responsible to the Chair, Graduate Education, Associate Dean, and Dean in the Liffrig Family School of Education and Behavioral Sciences.
This position will have teaching and advising responsibilities in both the Ed.D. and M.Ed. graduate programs and administrative responsibilities as a program director in the graduate education program. The program director responsibilities include working in collaboration with graduate education program faculty to ensure and improve the quality of the assigned graduate education program by taking an active lead in program planning, organizing, implementation of school/program policies and procedures, program faculty team building, marketing of program, program evaluation, and the evaluation of program faculty.
All faculty are expected to demonstrate a willingness to support and advance the Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine mission and identity of the University of Mary (see https://www.umary.edu/about/mission-identity).

Qualifications and Requirements Include:
- Doctoral degree required
- Successful teaching experience in K-12 and post-secondary education courses
- Successful administrative experience in higher education preferred
- Upholds and supports the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary
- Supports the ongoing implementation of Ex Corde Ecclesiae, the apostolic constitution on Catholic colleges and universities
- Builds a culture of ready and earnest hospitality in the School of Education and throughout the university, in accord with Saint Benedict’s admonition that all be received as Christ
